# Cloud accounts

Under Cloud accounts you store credentials for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Open Telekom Cloud, and you see the resources MainPath created in that account.

Under **Cloud accounts** (in the left navigation below **Kubernetes clusters**) you keep the credentials for your cloud accounts, once for the whole organization. MainPath uses them to create [Kubernetes clusters]({{< relref "kubernetes-integration" >}}) and optional databases in your name.

The screen groups accounts by provider and lists the resources MainPath created underneath, for example managed clusters and linked projects.

## Add an account

1. Open **Cloud accounts** and click **Add cloud account**.
2. Choose AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Open Telekom Cloud.
3. Set a name and slug and enter the credentials.

How you create the keys at the provider is described in [AWS: credentials]({{< relref "aws-cloud-credentials" >}}), [Azure: credentials]({{< relref "azure-cloud-credentials" >}}), [Google Cloud: credentials]({{< relref "gcp-cloud-credentials" >}}), and [Open Telekom Cloud: credentials]({{< relref "otc-cloud-credentials" >}}). MainPath stores secrets encrypted. The list shows name, provider, and region, not the keys themselves.

## What MainPath creates in the account

When you create a cluster, the matching cloud resources (network, nodes, optional database) appear in your account. This screen shows the clusters MainPath manages and the projects that use the account.

Imported kubeconfigs do not belong to a cloud account; they live only under **Kubernetes clusters**.
